About

Blueberry Jam is an award winning festival that started in 2019 as an Outdoor Concert at Big Belle Farm, a 170 year old heritage farm owned by Paul and Adele Meagher on Mabou Ridge, Inverness County. The event, formed through a collaboration between Big Belle Farm and local born musician, Rankin MacInnis, is a way to celebrate and promote both the wild blueberry industry of Cape Breton/Nova Scotia as well as the incredible music of the province.  Now, the outdoor concert has expanded into an annual full weekend of music in beautiful, late August. In 2020, Blueberry Jam also added ‘the Harvest Series’. The series takes the music from the field and into the barn over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend to celebrate the end of the harvest season.
