About

Big Spruce Brewing is Atlantic Canada’s only organic, on-farm craft brewery and hop yard.  We brew only unfiltered, unpasteurised, unbelievably good beer and seltzers.  Drop by our sprawling outdoor patio and taproom for pints and flights.  Our spacious To-Go area has merch, growlers, cans and specialty bottles of our many year-round and seasonal beers. Our seasonal food truck features local and sustainable beer-inspired cuisine, plus there’s live music on weekends May to October. You can find us across Nova Scotia in the NSLC stores, Bishop’s Cellar, Harvest Wines, Rockhead and Westside Beer and Wine.
With a commanding south-facing view of the Bras D’Or Lake (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), you’ll want to stay all afternoon.  So stop in, grab a seat and soak in the beer-drenched view!
