About

The Red Shoe Pub has become a kind of “home away from home” for many locals and visitors over the years. The Rankin Sisters’ cozy spot in the hamlet of Mabou, on the west coast of Cape Breton, offers a menu of Nova Scotia home cooking. Features include a treasured seafood chowder and a variety of pub fare.

Visit "The Shoe" for great food and drinks and great live music, seven days a week, and is wheelchair accessible.

The Red Shoe Pub is open seasonally from the last Friday in May to mid-October. Visit the website for hours of operation.
