About

If you’re visiting Cape Breton for the first time or maybe just want to learn more about the culture and types of tunes that make up Cape Breton music, your first stop should be a visit through our Interactive Exhibit Room, custom designed to get you “Tuned into Cape Breton Music”.

Take a self-guided tour through the history of Cape Breton music through samples of tunes, songs, stories, dance, bagpipes and fiddle music and the stories and culture behind them. See vintage instruments and audio equipment used generations ago, try your hand at a tune with the available fiddles or even learn a few steps for a square dance or how to speak some basic Scottish Gaelic.

This is a must-stop on any itinerary!

We are open 9-4pm Monday-Friday and 12-5pm on Sundays! We also have a Gift Shop, Restaurant, along with daily music!
