Dubbed the grandfather of Cape Breton folk art, Murray Gallant spent his days in his polka-dotted shed, never referred to as a studio, crafting some of the most colourful and unapologetically humorous folk art in Mi’kma’ki. a man lies here is on from January 31-March 22 in Gallery 203, in loving memory of Murray Gallant, 1938-2024.
