Celebrate Acadian history and living culture at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site!  

On August 15th, the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site is celebrating Acadian Day! Listen in on a moving, acoustic performance of Ave Marie Stella, the Acadian anthem, performed in the King’s Bastion’s Chapel.

Explore the many Acadian connections and influences in 18th century Louisbourg as you walk the streets of this authentic French colony. And be sure to sample a traditional Acadian meal at the Restaurant de la Marine!

Celebrate this living culture and discovered the storied history of L’Acadie.

Standard entrance fees apply.

Admission is free for youth aged 17 and under!
