The Membertou Heritage Park consists of a five-acre site that offers a living history of the people of Membertou along with a large indoor exhibit and program area that offers the visitor full immersion to an ancient culture.
Experience the stories and oral history of the Membertou Community through enactments and cultural presentations. Walk with a tour guide and/or Elder through the Membertou Heritage Park and learn about the unique history, heritage and culture through educational and interactive experiences.
The Park honours the spirituality and strength of the Membertou people by sharing and preserving Mi’kmaq culture and heritage.
While visiting Membertou Heritage Park, everyone will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the rich culture that is Membertou.
Come see Canada’s largest wooden basket, birch bark traditionally-made canoe, the "micmac" stick and many more amazing exhibits and crafts.
