About

Laurie’s Motor Inn, located in the heart of the historic Acadian Village of Chéticamp on beautiful Cape Breton Island, offers guest accommodations overlooking the Chéticamp Harbour and the Cape Breton Highlands. We invite you to relax and enjoy the unique Acadian experience that Laurie’s and Chéticamp have to offer.

Let Laurie’s be your home away from home while taking a day trip through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and along the legendary Cabot Trail with its panoramic views of canyons, highlands, and seacoasts. Try one of the many hiking trails, enjoy the views from the look-offs, and take in the interpretive programs.

After spending the day exploring village boutiques and craft shops, visiting historic sites, enjoying a whalewatching tour, golfing at Le Portage Golf Club, or lazing on the local beaches, savour a meal in one of the local restaurants before retiring to one of our 53 air-conditioned rooms or two vacation houses. All rooms feature a 3-piece bath, satellite television, telephone, hair dryer, WiFi Internet, and an open or private patio deck. Our guests will enjoy a complimentary hot/cold breakfast buffet during peak season (June 1 to October 20).

The property offers 24-hour reception (in season), guest computers, an ATM and a small canteen in the lobby. The property also offers coin-operated laundry facilities and free parking.
