Isle Madame

About

La Picasse, a community cultural centre, is the heart of local Acadian life. This multidisciplinary space includes the regional library, an aquaculture centre, the community radio station CITU, and more. Local crafts are also available. The information desk is open year-round and offers brochures and information on tourism promoters, businesses, and other organizations.

La Picasse’s primary role is to promote the flourishing of the French language and the vitality of the local Acadian community. It fulfills this need through artistic, cultural, community, and educational programming. Above all, La Picasse aims to contribute to the economic and tourism development of the region.
