The Hike:  It is said in the local folklore that Devi’s Hill Falls got its name from the story of an encounter between a man returning from a dance and the Devil along the old road that used to run from Louisbourg to the Mira river. One of the original waterfalls to explore around Sydney, Devil’s Hills Falls sees a lot of foot traffic. From where are you parked, simply follow the path all the way to the falls. The only tricky part for some might be the descent into the small ravine to be able to stand at the foot of the falls. This waterfall ranges a lot in terms of flow between a roaring brook to a trickle over mossy rock walls. Therefore, pick your day to explore accordingly. There are some smaller falls located downstream of the main fall as well as upstream of the bridge.
