About

Colindale Beach Villas is a breathtaking, 50-acre, nature-oriented “stay and play” oceanside destination with a beautiful, secluded 4-acre, sandy swimming beach, nature trails and executive class, three bedroom vacation homes, each situated on 2 acres of land. The property’s convenient location makes it an excellent base camp for enjoying Cape Breton’s many magical attractions in comfort and style.
The property features 3 executive-class three-bedroom vacation homes and 3 new executive-class Mini Villas / “couples cottages”.

Each of our luxurious, 3-bedroom vacation homes feature stunning ocean views, epic Cape Breton sunsets, open-concept floor plans and are packed full of modern amenities including a fully-equipped, open-concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances, satellite TV, wi-fi, air conditioning and laundry center. The bedrooms feature comfortable queen and king-sized beds with premium linens, screened windows and blackout blinds. Outside, you’ll find a spacious sundeck with a BBQ, outdoor furniture, a giant yard and access to a nature trail which leads down to sandy, secluded and sensational Colindale Beach – a wonderful spot for a swimming, beach walks, sunset watching, photography and simply reconnecting with nature in the fresh ocean air.
Each of our new Mini Villas features many of the comforts of our larger villas but in a compact format designed for two adults (and a child).

We are conveniently located within 5 minutes of the shops, restaurants, musical festivals and five beaches of the picturesque seaside community of Port Hood. The charming village of Mabou which has great local food, groceries, fiddle music and step dance is just ten minutes away.  Meanwhile, we are conveniently located about half an hour drive from the five-star Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links golf courses in Inverness and an hour away from the starting point of the world-famous Cabot Trail. The lakeside town of Baddeck, the historic Fortress of Louisburg and whale watching expeditions are all easy day trips from our property.
We are unfortunately unable to host guests with pets or children under the age of 8 for safety reasons.
