Colette’s is a small family diner located in the heart of Glace Bay, specializing in breakfast and homemade cooking just like “ Mom” used to make. Patrons keep returning for the friendly service , hearty portions, and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable where everyone is welcome whether coming from work , a workout, or just out with the family grabbing a bite.  

Colette’s opened in 2004 and currently employs 20 people. Owner Colette Martin grew up in the restaurant business as her family owned and operated the busy diner for 34 years. While a lot has changed, some recipes are still used today. Opening at 6 am and running until 8:30pm daily, Colette’s offers eat in, take away and delivery.

Colette’s was featured on The Food Network’s show, You Gotta Here. In Season 2, host John Cattucci visits Glace Bay to find a filling Christmas dinner all wrapped up in the gift of a festive poutine. Hark, John hears the herald angels sing!
