About

The Bruce Guthro Songwriters Circle is making its way to Cape Breton for a very special evening at the Savoy Theatre on Monday, December 28, 2026. Hosted by the new duo, The Guthros, siblings Dylan and Jodi Guthro will be performing for the first time in Cape Breton as The Guthros. Their prolific songwriting skills and musicality was honed at an early age under the influence and passion of their world-renowned dad, Bruce Guthro. You will be the first in Cape Breton to hear the songs and music they’ve created together in the studios of Nashville and Nova Scotia. The evening will also feature acclaimed east coast musicians and songwriters J. P. Cormier and Kim Dunn, along with very special guests the Men of the Deeps. J. P. and Kim are long-time friends of the Bruce Guthro Songwriters Circle and we are happy to have them join us in Cape Breton to kick off the start of the Savoy’s 100 th year! Expect an unforgettable night of songs, stories, and laughter… Cape Breton, this one’s for you!
