Pondville Beach Provincial Park, a picnic park on Cape Breton Island 2 km (1.5 mi) off Route 320 through Pondville, has a 1-km (0.5-mi) sandy beach (unsupervised), backed by gentle dunes, a large lagoon and a salt marsh.
