Keltic Quay’s accommodations include twelve suites in six waterside cottages, featuring one and two-bedroom units. Each unit offers a deck or balcony located within 25 feet of the water, with Adirondack chairs, cable TV, electric fireplaces and rotisserie BBQs. Our beds are king and queen-sized, and feature soft mattresses to ensure a great night’s sleep. Gourmet kitchens with full size appliances and all amenities, spa bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, and spacious, comfortable living areas ensure you’ll feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Our main lodge offers deep comfortable leather seating in front of a floor to ceiling wood-burning fireplace, perfect for a drink and conversation. Or, join in a spirited game of cards, pool or shuffleboard. Prefer to sit outside? The lodge offers full-length verandas on two sides, allowing you to bask in sunlight any time of the day – and letting you pick your view! Our resort-wide Wi-Fi lets you stay in touch with family or business any time of the day or night. And remember, we’re a short drive from the entrance to the Cabot Trail, making us the ideal base from which to plan your day trips and adventures.
Our Whycocomagh Suite is two bedroom wheelchair accessible suite with a King bed, Double bed, and a sofa bed. Perfect for families or groups travelling together.
Keltic Quay is located directly on the shores of the The Bras d’Or Lake Biosphere Reserve. Looking out from the windows or decks of any of our accommodations you can see a multitude of species. On a given day you can see eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and even the occasional seal, beaver or mink. In the area we also have rabbits, deer and moose. We actually have an osprey nest and frog pond directly on the property. We offer kayaks and canoes to our guests and during the summer months and we have a traditional marshmallow roast over a camp fire right beside the shoreline.
We are proudly recognized by Canada Select as a 4 1/2 star accommodation. Pets are permitted, with restrictions. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.
