About

Chef Ardon Mofford, award-winning chef and Cape Breton’s culinary leader welcomes you to Governors Pub & Eatery. This local ingredients champion restaurant is renowned for its fresh-from-the-ocean seafood, seasonal homegrown ingredients and an innovative made-from-fresh menu.

Paired up with the menu is great live music. Governors plays host to Atlantic Canada’s most talented traditional Celtic and indie bands. You’ll find a warm and relaxing atmosphere in either the traditional comfort of our lively Celtic Pub upstairs or the ambience of the casual fine dining restaurant located on the first floor, with two outdoor patios overlooking the water and the stunning open fire pits.
