Bill Cameron has decades of performing experience as a folk musician. The Ontario native, now living in Cape Breton, plays upbeat Celtic and Canadian music, (with an emphasis on Scottish and Maritime sources). He also plays original songs and tunes, contemporary Canadian folk music, and swing classics. Bill believes in bringing honest energy to any kind of music. A consummate flatpicking guitarist and an innovative fingerpicker, he also plays mandolin and fiddle and counts Doc Watson, Dick Gaughan, Stan and Garnet Rogers, Archie Fisher, Ewan MacColl and Natalie MacMaster as musicians who have left a lasting impression on him.
