Sam Moon’s 75th birthday party continues Saturday night! The legendary Cape Breton singer and songwriter has a music career spanning 60 years performing and touring across Canada and the USA, five years of which Sam Moon and Matt Minglewood toured as musical partners. Moon’s debut album was released in 1982 and the single “Eclipse” cracked C100’s chart at #5 in their year end review. Sam was named “Entertainer of the Year” by the Halifax Herald that year and in 2007 he received an ECMA Stompin’ Tom Award. In 2011, the well received Never Let Me Go album was released and some of Sam’s compositions have been recorded by various artists, including the classic “Girls of Neil’s Harbour”. Over the years, Sam has shared the stage with rock icons including ZZ Top, the Doobie Brothers, The Band, The Guess Who, The Beach Boys, and April Wine. Don’t miss this chance to see a true Cape Breton legend in action. Advance tickets only.
