Singer/songwriter Robbie Simms is a veteran of Cape Breton’s music and theatre scenes whose powerhouse vocal style has garnered much attention since the 1990’s. Wrought with a grungy, blues inspired soul, Simms’ music beats with a poet’s heart and can best be described as a flavour of pop ordered off the menu, best enjoyed on a long bus ride between Sydney and Seattle. In addition to writing and recording music, Robbie has appeared in countless stage productions and is also a co-founder and lead guitarist/vocalist for The Ashbys since 2016.
