The Louisbourg Playhouse presents Spirit of the Fiddle featuring Kimberley Fraser, Mac Morin, Aaron Lewis, and Kelly MacArthur. Born on Cape Breton and nurtured within its rich musical heritage, fiddler Kimberley Fraser has performed all over the world from Afghanistan to Victoria. A master at the trio of fiddling, step dancing, and piano, Kimberley is a much sought-after performer and teacher for all three. Cape Breton singer-songwriter Aaron Lewis is an established vocalist and seasoned musician who plays a variety of instruments. A member of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, Aaron has toured all over the world, including seven years with The Carleton Showband. Mac Morin is a dancer and piano player from Troy, Cape Breton who has toured around the world with Natalie MacMaster and Beòlach, and appeared on numerous artists’ recordings including Beòlach, Natalie MacMaster, Yo Yo Ma, The Rankins, and Buddy MacMaster. He has also released his own solo album and is an in-demand teacher for Cape Breton step dancing.
