Before he was tall enough to reach the pedals, Jason Kempt couldn’t wait to get started playing piano. A career spanning more than 30 years has seen him writing, directing, producing and performing in shows across Atlantic Canada. A high school teacher by day, Jason has made time to pursue music performances throughout Canada, the USA, and a tour through Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands as part of the Irish Folk Festival. Now a regular solo performer at venues across Cape Breton, Jason brings his interactive piano bar style show to a diverse range of audiences.
