Night Two of A HEARTFUL OF BLUES features an outstanding lineup of blues performers from across the region including Midtown Blues Band, Campbell & Johnson, and Jon Hines. Midtown Blues Band brings classic blues influences together with tight arrangements and crowd-pleasing grooves. Campbell & Johnston deliver a roots-driven blues sound marked by gritty guitar work and emotionally rich performances. Jon Hines, a celebrated blues and roots artist, headlines the night with a commanding performance blending blues, rock, and powerful storytelling. Doors open at 4:30pm and supper menu is available.
A Heartful of Blues is a two-day winter celebration presented by the Cape Breton Island International Blues Society, bringing the soul, grit, and power of blues music to downtown Sydney. Held at the iconic Capri Cabaret, the Cape Breton Island International Blues Festival showcases award-winning regional, national, and international artists in an intimate, high-energy setting. From deep traditional blues to modern blues-rock and soul-infused performances, A Heartful of Blues offers two nights of exceptional live music, storytelling, and connection. Each evening features limited seating, a full supper menu, and late-night After Hours Blues Club (Daniel’s Alehouse) performances for those who want to keep the blues alive into the night.
