Theatre Baddeck’s production of Ed’s Garage, by Dan Needles, tells the story of former cattle farmer, Peter, who arrives at Ed’s Garage looking for court-ordered counselling after a run-in with a township building official trying to block Peter’s plan to turn the family farm into a bed and breakfast. Ed doesn’t just run a garage that just fixes cars or boat motors. He also fixes people, who come regularly to sit in a Muskoka chair and talk about their troubles, often enduring Ed’s unorthodox, but effective, treatments. Ed’s Garage runs throughout July and August at Theatre Baddeck.
