As part of the Waters Flowing Together knowledge mobilization event,  Àros na Mara ("House of the Sea") is hosting a full day of Science, Culture, and Celebration in Iona. The Symposium Workshops at St. Columba Parish Hall). These sessions explore cultural tourism, Indigenous relationships with the Bras d’Or, and the power of language, story, and song. They’re linked live with Àros na Mara’s partners at SAMS in Scotland and feature presenters from Dalhousie, UINR, NSITEN, and CBU. The participation of tourism operators, guides, educators, and community members is warmly welcomed.
