About
Slowcoaster welcomes musical pals Mae Rivers and The Lotoyas for one unforgetable December night in Howie Centre. Mae Rivers has been playing music for her entire 22 years, from singing before she could talk to starting on piano at four years old. She has been making a name for herself playing shows over the past year or so. The Lotoyas have been here all along. Steeped in Nova Scotia’s rock tradition like a day old pot of tea at Nan’s. They released theit debut album at the end of October. Slowcoaster has been spreading its unique brand of reggae, rock, ska, folk, jazz-infused salt water funk since the turn of the century. If you don’t know, now you know, Slowco.
