About

From Baddeck, Rachel Davis is one of Cape Breton’s most acclaimed fiddlers and singers. A core member of the JUNO-nominated, award-winning group Còig, she’s toured stages across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., France, and Australia, bringing her driving fiddle, warm voice, and deep respect for tradition to audiences everywhere. At her side is Jason Roach, one of the Maritimes’ most versatile pianists. Known for his fearless, high-energy style, Jason has performed with Ashley MacIsaac, Chrissy Crowley, and as Rachel’s bandmate in Còig, where his inventive rhythms fuel every set. Together, they deliver music that is rooted and daring, and unmistakably Cape Breton. Join them for this special Celtic Colours afterparty.
