About

Get ready for an unforgettable night of soul-stirring blues as we launch the Cape Breton Island International Blues Festival with the Hot August Blues concert. This ine-night-only celebration of pure, raw, live music features Jon Hines & Joe Murphy—East Coast blues royalty bringing grit, groove, and guitar magic; Joe H Henry—an electrifying performer who blurs the lines between blues, soul, and roots; Blues to Blackstreet-where classic blues meets modern R&B in a powerhouse performance; and Barnful of Blues-a high-energy band delivering foot-stomping, heart-thumping blues with a rural edge. There will also be a food truck on site. Reserve your ticket via EMT to: [email protected].
4pm (doors) / 5pm (showtime) | $40
