About

Ed Woodsworth’s music career began with award-winning, chart-topping Cape Breton group Realworld who had several releases on local and national radio stations, toured in the Maritimes, Ontario and Quebec, and appeared on a variety of television shows. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist studied Jazz at St. F.X. University, toured the world with top East Coast performers Ashley MacIsaac’s Kitchen Devils, Gordie Sampson, and Jimmy Rankin, and lead his own jazz trio. Ed has worked as a band leader for television and stage productions, been recognized for his work as a producer, and was the recipient of the Musician’s Achievement award from the East Coast Music Association (2016). As a solo performer, Ed plays guitar and covers of many of the artists he toured and played bass with over the years. Daniels Alehouse and Eatery has local live music to listen to every afternoon there is a cruise ship in town! Come down and enjoy our daily lunch specials and local music all September long!
