Join us for an exciting day of music, dancing, and fun at Colaisde na Gàidhlig [The Gaelic College] in St. Ann’s for the 2025 Festival of Cape Breton Fiddling.
Workshops
Cape Breton Fiddlers’ Association will be hosting fiddle, piano, and dance workshops with some of Cape Breton’s finest instructors including Doug Lamey, Kyle MacDonald, Kyle MacNeil, Lawrence Cameron, Colin MacDonald, and Melanie MacDonald. Workshops run concurrently and cost $25 per person.

Gala Concert
The Cape Breton Fiddlers’ Association will celebrate with heart and spirit, bringing together talented musicians from near and far. Performers will come together to share the rich traditions and deep roots of Cape Breton fiddle music—honoured, enjoyed, and passed on with pride. Please bring a chair or blanket for seating. In the event of rain, the Gala Concert will be hosted inside the Hall of the Clans.
2-7pm | $20
Dance & Jam Session
Come enjoy and experience some traditional music and dance as we ceilidh together celebrating Cape Breton’s Celtic culture. Music for the dance will be provided by CBFA youth members. Concessions and parking will also be available. We hope you can join us!
