We are currently developing a new app and will be announcing it on our social media channels in the upcoming days.

How do I Enter the Contest?

After you've installed the app, visit one of our waterfalls and scan the QR code when you find the Waterfall Season sign near the falls. Every QR code scan is eligible for a stamp. Three STAMPS gives you your first automatic entry into the draw for a Cape Breton Adventure Weekend. Every stamp after the first three will qualify for an additional entry.

In addition to this contest we are hosting weekly challenges to keep you chasing waterfalls throughout the season. We'll be announcing each new challenge on each Wednesday during the campaign on our social media channels. Be sure to follow us at @VisitCapeBretonIsland!

If you do not want to use the app and QR codes, you can take a photo of yourself and our waterfall sign and send the photos to adam@dcba.ca. We must receive three photos of yourself at different waterfalls to be entered into the contest. Every extra photo received will qualify for an additional entry.

**Bonus** Secret Waterfall Challenge!

We’ve hidden one Waterfall Sign at an undisclosed waterfall somewhere on Cape Breton Island and the first person to find it wins a prize! If you're the first person to scan the Waterfall Season Sign at the secret waterfall you'll win a Parks Canada Discovery Pass and a copy of Cape Breton Waterfalls book by Benoit Lalonde! We will provide hints to the location of this waterfall weekly on our social media channels until the secret waterfall has been discovered.

The secret waterfall will not be found on private land.
