Spend the next three days exploring Cape Breton Island by snowshoe. Hike some of the most photogenic locations on the Island and take breaks among exceptional vistas. Stay in luxury accommodations where you can kick your boots off at the end of the day and relive the day’s adventures.
Start your journey with a 7km hike along the breathtaking Skyline Trail, a personal favorite among tourists and locals alike. Take in the sights and sounds of nature as you hike your way to one of Cape Breton Island’s most iconic views.
Sit back and enjoy the view as you travel to your next snowshoeing location – you’ll be back on the trail in no time. Make sure to include a coffee break on your drive, you won’t regret it, trust us!
Pack up the car and head to Sydney! Explore the downtown for a while before strapping on your snowshoes and hiking a new trail system tucked away in East Bay.
Head home knowing you’ve hiked over 10kms across some of Cape Breton Island’s most popular trails. While there are certainly more trails to explore by snowshoe this 3-day itinerary is the perfect way to introduce or recommit you to the wintery activity.
