About

Situated in historic Baddeck, The Water’s Edge overlooks the picture-perfect harbour and stunning vista of the Bras d’Or Lakes. We provide a truly unique combination of luxurious accommodation as well as an art gallery exhibiting original creations of over 100 maritime fine artists and designer craftsmen.
Baddeck serves as the beginning and the end of the world-famous Cabot Trail, and is a short hour-long drive from the Fortress Louisbourg National Historic Site. Take a sailing trip on the Bras d’Or Lakes, golf at Bell Bay Golf Course, visit the amazing Alexander Graham Bell Museum or take a scenic drive along the lake. Let us make suggestions for some of the more hidden treasures of the area.
Our accommodations include seven units: six spacious air-conditioned rooms (Queen-sized bed, King-sized bed; two units with cathedral ceiling and ceiling fan) with ensuite 3-piece or 4-piece bath, cable television, a DVD player and a telephone; one efficiency apartment (Queen-sized bed, sofa-bed; sleeps four) with 3-piece bath (Shower), cable television, and a DVD player. We are located on the waterfront in the heart of town. Guests can enjoy private waterfront beach access. No pets, please. Check-in is at 7 p.m. All major credit cards are accepted.
