Overview

Located at the entry area of Nova Scotia’s masterpiece, Cape Breton Island, this is the ideal location for those planning a vacation to explore the island and experience the seascapes, outstanding cuisine, hospitality, rousing ceilidhs and inspiring history. Visit the island and you will soon realize why Cape Breton has been given the distinction as one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

There are many Cape Breton attractions to visit that are within 2.5 hours driving distance. Located in the Village of Baddeck, overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes, the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site contains the largest collection of Bell’s artifacts and inventions, including replicas of the first telephones. Bell’s estate, Beinn Breagh, can be viewed from the rooftop gardens of the complex.

Experience the finest golf at Bell Bay Golf Course, with incredible views from virtually every hole. Four distinct teeing areas on each hole have been provided to ensure challenging and enjoyable golf for players of all skill levels.

Immerse yourself in local history by visiting Cossit House Museum, which is believed to be the oldest house in Sydney, or Cape Breton Miners’ Museum in Glace Bay, which pays tribute to coal mining in the area.

Our accommodations include four air-conditioned rooms (queen- and king-sized beds) with ensuite 4-piece baths. There is a recreation room for guests with a professional-size pool table, computerized treadmill, exercise bike, light workout bench, and lounging area. A computer and wireless Internet access are available, along with fax services, a laundry facility, a kitchenette and covered patio.  A full breakfast is served, and all major credit cards and direct debit are accepted.
