1Travel approximately 30 minutes (35 kms) to North Sydney to Seaview Golf Course and enjoy lunch and prepare for your outing. The golf course is groomed by the Cape Breton Nordic Ski Club. Skiers will be able to enjoy classic technique and skate technique on terrain that is gently rolling, and suitable for skiers of multiple abilities.
2Head northeast on Seaview Drive traveling approximately 10 minutes (7 kms) and stop at a grocery store in North Sydney to pick up some supplies for supper for Day 2 and then get on the road to Indian Brook.
3Have dinner at GoBistro Restaurant in Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort. Go Bistro strives as much as possible to use ingredients that are in their natural state, organic and local. In season, many of their vegetables and herbs are plucked fresh from their own organic garden, from their reclaimed apple orchard, or straight from the wild (such as blueberries and chanterelle mushrooms). Chefs also produce a variety of home-baked goods on site, including breads and desserts. The fully-licensed bar offers local and imported wines, spirits and beers, including Cape Breton based organic micro-brewery Big Spruce and local winery Jost.
