À propos
The English Country Garden B&B is nestled among white birch and spruce trees, overlooking a sparkling lake at the foot of the Cape Breton Highlands on the beautiful Cabot Trail. Guests can lounge in luxury in this peaceful setting on 37 acres of lush landscape on a private lake, and take a leisurely walk through the beautiful gardens.
Located amongst the breathtaking vistas of the Cabot Trail and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park at Ingonish Beach, Highland Links is one of Canada’s most prestigious golf courses. Try your swing at this 18-hole course designed by Stanley Thompson. Discover the Fortress of Louisbourg, where costumed animators bring an 18th-century fortified town to life. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck where original artifacts, films, and family photographs highlight the famous inventor’s scientific and humanitarian work. The nearby St. Ann’s Gaelic College was established as a school devoted to the study and preservation of the Gaelic language and Celtic arts and culture. We are in the midst of over a dozen world-class artisans.
Our accommodations include five luxurious rooms (Queen-sized bed, King-sized bed) with ensuite 4-piece baths. Bathrobes, bath salts and herbal teas are provided. Full English breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. We are a non-smoking property.
