À propos

Celebrating 25 years of touring their much-loved Celtic-flavoured Christmas show, the Barra MacNeils present audience favourites and special new material at The Savoy for two shows on December 20 as they wrap up their cross-country national tour.

The Barra MacNeils An East Coast Christmas features a highly entertaining mix of entertaining stories and dance, stamped with their lush harmonies and brilliant instrumental stylings.
One of the most beloved concerts of the winter season, the show brings a Celtic spin to traditional favourites along with their own original musical treasures. The group has also crafted some unique moments for their very special 25th anniversary celebration.
Hailing from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Island, the five versatile siblings – Seumas, Kyle, Stewart, Lucy, and Boyd are deeply rooted in Celtic music, culture, dance, language and history. Their numerous critically acclaimed recordings have included their own original songs as well as tried and true standards, both instrumental and vocal. They are joined on-stage by long-time bass player Jamie Gatti.
The Barras’ long career has taken their music across the globe; their coast-to-coast Christmas tour has been selling out since its inception and continues to grow new audiences every year.
The Barra MacNeils live concert experience is family entertainment at its highest level leaving magical memories that will last beyond the season and bringing back audiences time and again.
