Welcome to the Mira River Cottages, located on the beautiful Mira Rive in the heart of Cape Breton Island. Our vacation paradise has been welcoming guests to this scenic area since 1998 with leisurely accommodations in a peaceful setting.
Your vacation begins on the Mira with Cape Breton hospitality, a European flair, and nature’s abundance. We are able to present a varied and fun-filled vacation for the family with hiking trails, canoes, boat tours, and fishing. We are only a few minutes away from Sydney and the many venues that offer family fun and relaxation, as well as shopping, fine cuisine and family-style dining. We are also within driving distance to whale watching tours, the Fortress of Louisbourg, the Nova Scotia Highland Village, Cape Breton Miner’s Museum, and the Bell Bay Golf Club.
Our accommodations include two housekeeping cottages and two motel rooms with a king-sized bed, 3-piece (shower) or 4-piece bath (one with roll-in shower), smart television, free Wi-Fi, and hardwood floors. Service is provided in English and German.
