À propos

Join us for a night celebrating the songs, stories, and beautifully crooked wisdom of John Prine. A songwriter who could make you laugh out loud and quietly break your heart in the same verse.

John Prine wrote songs about ordinary people living ordinary lives, and somehow made them extraordinary. His music is sharp, compassionate, funny, and deeply human, filled with small truths that stay with you long after the last note fades. This tribute night brings together three outstanding Cape Breton musicians–Jacob Noonan, Jordan Musycsyn, and Dylan Matthew Devoe–who share a love for Prine’s storytelling and timeless songwriting. Expect familiar favourites, a few deep cuts, and performances that honour the songs without sanding down their rough edges. Come early, grab a pint, and settle in for a night of songs that feel like old friends.
