Nestled above Lake Ainslie, Bear Paw Cottages are the perfect Nova Scotia destination. Close to all there is to see and do in Cape Breton. Just fifteen minutes to Inverness, home to the world-famous Cabot Link golf courses, Inverness Beach, the Miner’s Museum, the Inverness County Centre for the Arts and more. A central location to enjoy day trips to Port Hood, Judique, Mabou, Baddeck, and Cheticamp. Enjoy a drive on the Cabot Trail to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Bear Paw Cottages is twenty acres of wooded wonder with the longest natural beach on West Lake Ainslie. The beach property is just a short walk from the cottages, parking is also available at the beach. Kayak in the warmer weather snowshoe in the winter and hike all year long, exploring the nature all around.  The completely renovated, newly furnished, fully equipped cottages are truly a home-away-from-home, cabin on the outside, resort on the inside, place to stay. Two bedrooms in each with queen-sized Endy mattresses with ample drawer space underneath and lots of places to hang your things. 
The kitchens feature full-sized fridge and stove plus coffee maker with complimentary East Coast coffee. A toaster, kettle, and microwave, all the dishes, utensils, pans and pans you need. 
The living area has a beautiful sofa, dining area for four, a smart TV and fresh décor. Local artist works adorn the walls. 
Private front decks boast a bistro table and chairs. Every cottage is equipped with a propane BBQ and private firepit with the first bundle of firewood included. There is a large firepit for group events, family reunions and weddings.
