About

Baddeck Lobster Suppers is family owned and operated,  with over 100 years tradition of working in the fishing industry.  Offering wonderful stories to share,  and fresh local seafood to savor!
Arriving from Scotland in 1828, John Montgomery and his wife planted their roots along the coast of Cape Breton Island, where they farmed the land and fished the waters to provide for their family.
Try locally fished hard shelled lobster, fire planked salmon, local snow crab or AAA strip loin steak.
During the summer season, anchor your ship at the fire pit where you will learn the ropes of planking Atlantic salmon over an open flame.  Inside, the rest of the clan is serving up “all you can eat” mussels, chowder, biscuits.  Make sure to save room for one of our house-made desserts!
Fully licensed, serving locally sourced spirits, wines, craft beers and draught.  Experience friendly, relaxed Cape Breton hospitality with professional, knowledgeable staff to serve you!
Hope to see you soon. Walk-In Service. Reservations recommended for parties of 6 or more.
