Kayak Cape Breton & Cottages in St. George’s Channel near St. Peters and West Bay offers a quiet retreat hidden in a 12-acre wooded area on the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes.  Our two cedar log cottages and boathouse cottage are secluded from one another providing our guests with a private paradise! Take a nature walk in our woods, where you can pick berries and mushrooms.  Relax, swim, snorkel or beach comb on our peaceful scenic beach. Explore our waterways and islands by kayak or canoe; we offer both kayak tours and lessons. Rentals of kayaks, canoes, bicycles are also available. 

There is much to see and do in our area, such as golfing at Dundee Golf Resort, diving, sailing or horseback riding. Just 15 minutes away from St. Peter’s, discover the famous St. Peter’s Canal and its tidal lock system specially designed to link the Atlantic Ocean with the Bras d’Or Lakes. Opposite the canal you can hike up the hill passing through Battery Park. The French-speaking community of Isle Madame with its picturesque harbours and beaches is only half an hour away, as well as the Point Michaud Provincial Park with its long sandy beaches and surfing opportunities.
We are centrally located for you to enjoy day trips to many attractions and destinations such as the Fortress of Louisbourg, the village of Baddeck , the Highland Village Museum and the legendary Cabot Trail.    
Our accommodations include 2 lovely fully-equipped cedar log cottages and 1 boathouse apartment (Single, Twin, Queen, King): each includes two bedrooms, housekeeping facilities, 3-piece bath (shower), barbecue and verandah. Pets are not permitted. Cottages are non-smoking.
