Discover a part of the rich Mi'kmaw heritage of Unama'ki! During Louisbourg’s French occupation, the Mi’kmaq played a vital role, supporting the community through knowledge sharing and supporting the French in times of war. The Mi'kmaw Interpretation Centre at the Fortress of Louisbourg is a special place to talk about Mi’kmaw history through images, artifacts, songs, traditional drumming and storytelling.

Free with site entry pass.

Daily 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, June to September.
