Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site – Wake up in the past!
Camp under the stars, safe inside fortress walls or sleep in a period house just as they did 300 years ago. Enjoy 18th-century style camping equipped with a period tent (already set-up), period lanterns, modern floor mats, cooking equipment, propane stove, and a fire pit to make your own fire. Adventurous outdoor and cultural activities await! Prefer camping with a roof over your head? Located in the heart of the fortified town, Rodrigue House will provide you with incredible stories to tell, long-lasting memories to cherish, and a truly authentic experience. Period lanterns, cooking equipment and a propane stove also provided. Available June to September, entrance fees are separate.
