Brìgh – Strathspey Place – The Essence of Gaelic in Cape Breton!
Building on last year’s success, “Brìgh” is a mentorship and performance program delivered by Strathspey Place in Mabou. Young Gaels come together to learn, socialize and have fun during the winter and spring months as they work toward the creation of a professional program highlighting the roots of Gaelic culture in Nova Scotia. From mid-July to mid-August, five performances will take place at Strathspey Place Theatre. Fiddles, songs, step-dancing and humour will bring Gaelic culture to the stage with a talented young cast. Choose to come at 6:30pm and enjoy the pre show – a 30-minute educational and captivating AV experience related to Gaelic language and culture in Nova Scotia.
