Baddeck Lobster Suppers
The food is incredible. So too, are the stories behind the food. Arriving from Scotland in 1828, John Montgomery and his wife planted their roots along the coast of Cape Breton Island, where they farmed the land and fished the waters to provide for their family. The Montgomery men continue to fish these shores today, bringing the finest fresh lobster to Baddeck Lobster Suppers. We’ll show you the ropes of planking Atlantic salmon over an open flame while inside the rest of the clan are sharing lessons in lobster and the lore of the sea.
