The Sydney Mines Heritage Festival, hosted by New Deal Development, returns for three days of fun for the whole family. The festival will feature two outdoor stages, food trucks, and international food and dance. There’s plenty for the kids to take in during the Heritage Festival including walking mascots, outdoor displays, Kids Fun Day at the Fossil Centre and many other games. Saturday starts with the Johnny Miles Race in the morning and continues with a craft show at the John J. Nugent Fire Hall on Saturday. The Chinese Dragon Festival Dancers and The Ninja Noodles will be performing all three days, Om and Priya will present their Bollywood fusion on Saturday and Sunday, while Taal Tarang Group’s blend of Bhangra and Bollywood takes centre stage on Saturday. The Festival will also feature special appearances by Dylan Devoe, Winston Scotty Fitzgerald Jr., and Victoria McDougall in addition to the main stage performances daily from 2-10pm.
