It’s lobster season on Cape Breton Island, the kettle is on and the beverages are chilled. And Saltscapes EXPO is coming to celebrate. This two day event features all local vendors, demos, and entertainment. Think Select Nova Scotia summer gatherings, culinary offerings by local chefs and producers hosted by the Kilted Chef Alain Bosse. For your adventurous side see fun demos on shucking seafood, pickling hearing and inspirational cooking for all ages. You'll also learn how to preserve fresh food so you can minimize food waste all year long. Rounding out the two day FEASTival will be unique handmade gifts, gardening tips, non-stop local entertainment, pub fare featuring local spirits, craft beer, Nova Scotia wine and non-stop cocktail demonstrations.
