The aim of the market is twofold: to encourage the use and production of local food; and, to foster a spirit of community by providing an opportunity to bring people together for social interaction and community building. Many of our producers and makers live on the Kempt Head Road and their products are homegrown and homemade. Our market is both a destination and an experience. Vendors can be found scattered along the Kempt Head Road at their farm gates. Our sister organization, The Ross Ferry Marine Park, has their Sunday BBQ and sells french fries, hot dogs, water and pop. They also have washroom facilities. Take your Sunday drive along the Kempt Head Road (between exits 13 and 15). The Ross Ferry Market supports sustainable farming.
