You’re invited to join this annual eight-mile race through the modern town and historical communities of Louisbourg!
Registration Fee: $40.00 until Aug. 8; $50.00 from Aug. 9-12 at 12 noon; registration not confirmed until fee received by e-transfer at [email protected]

Race Kit Pick-up: Race day from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the United Church Hall on Upper Warren Street, Louisbourg (allow 15 minutes to travel from downtown Louisbourg to Fortress site). $6.75 admittance fee will be charged by the Fortress for any guest accompanying the runner on site who is 18 years & over, payable when picking up race kits. Runner’s admittance fee is included in their registration.
Race Start Time: 6 p.m. at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. Start line and finish line by Frederick Gate. Race course will be closed at 7:45 p.m. – must be finished race by this time!
Award ceremony will begin at 7:45 p.m. at the fortress. Savour a take-out meal of fish chowder meal (or vegetarian soup option) and enjoy the atmosphere of La Taverne Storehouse to celebrate crossing the finish line.
Limited showers available on site. No dogs allowed on site except service animals.
