Join us this holiday long weekend to help nourish yourself with a restorative winter experience. Taking in the elements of the outdoors through guided snowshoeing*, fresh air, and star-gazing from the hot tub, and then warm up inside with some blankets and yoga props to enjoy the stillness of cozy candlelit Restorative and Yin practices in the evenings, and gentle mindful movement in the mornings.
There will be plenty of time to curl up inside with a book in front of the fire, enjoy the outdoor hot tubs, or hang out together in the games room (pool table, ping pong, board games, a library of books). Think comfy chairs, blankets and fuzzy slippers. We will finish off both nights with outdoor bonfires. Option to book personal appointments for Acupuncture and Massage** during free time.
Healthy hot and delicious, freshly prepared meals will nourish the system with seasonal farm to table ingredients, bringing the vitality of nutrients with a fully vegan menu*.
Fees include 6 meals, 2 nights accommodation, use of snowshoes, main lodge and property amenities, and all activities as identified below.
Not included in fees: Alcohol, wellness appointments ($90+tax 1 hr Massage, $80+tax 1 hr Acupuncture)
Appropriate outdoor weather clothing is recommended to participate in activities. Participants are also asked to bring personal yoga items such as mat and meditation cushion if used, journal and pen, slippers/ socks for indoor use, and bonfire blanket, and hot tub wear!

Wondering where to stay on your next snowmobile getaway? These 13 drive-up accommodations provide easy access to/from the trail system.
You may want to work your way up to this hike! So consider conquering North River Falls as something to aim for as you build your hiking repertoire. The hike is a well-maintained trail, part of the North River Provincial Park and Wilderness Area.
Cross country skiing in the highlands is definitely unlike any skiing we had done before. There’s no groomed track or perfectly flat terrain to ski, instead it’s an adventure in its own right every time we venture into the snowy highlands.
Looking for a great way to spend your long weekend on Cape Breton Island? Chéticamp will wow you! Let two local ambassadors, Jeremy Smith of CB West Paddle Boards and Napoleon Chiasson, one of our Acadian cultural ambassadors, guide you!

One of our favourite parts of this hike is the sound of the river beside you as you wander through the forest and see the stunning mountains of the Highlands around you.
What better place to celebrate love than on Cape Breton Island? Our community is rich with activities to suit any pair of lovebirds, whether they would rather thump their feet to some music at a pub or snuggle up in a cozy cafe.

The trail starts out somewhat wide and eventually narrows to a footpath in the woods – exactly what we wanted! We love hiking when it feels like
